the studio
Camp Cactus started over 25 years ago as the funky little studio of Portland artist Jane Russell.
Located in a converted circa 1910 garage in Portland's leafy-green Grant Park neighborhood,
Camp Cactus Studio has become a favorite place for the community to make art,
take classes and shop for handmade, local goods.

Jane Russell
A natural artist since she was knee-high to a grasshopper,
Jane studied art and photography in high school and in college.
Her work as a graphic designer, illustrator, textile designer, photo stylist,
and most recently as an art teacher, has been a source of great joy in her life.
She loves to share the infectious magic of making things by hand at Camp Cactus,
her cozy art studio in Portland, Oregon.
